Commenting...

Loads of people are commenting on the most recent changes in Blogger; most annoyingly, now you have to verify two words, not one... and they are VERY difficult to read. To the point it is almost ridiculous; and some people have stopped commenting altogether.

I have finally worked out (after much frustration) how to turn off 'Word Verification', and am only using the 'Comment Moderation' tool now! Yay for me...

You are right, during the initial stages, it was worst, all the letters were impossible to decipher. Many of my blogging friends dropped the verification.

Some didn't, now, I think blogger dropped that messy words, but still it is annoying.

However, some spam has crept in. Some guy put in an advertisement, and I wrote to tell, if you had read my blog, you won't put an ad there.

Must do this to mine... it was super annoying having to try and decifer those words! Glad I wasn't the only one. The re-arrange of the bedrooms looks great by the way.

Yeah...I have only just turned mine off on Friday night as it was frustrating me.... trying to work out exactly what those letters were! (annoying!).

VERY Belated Ninja-Bake Post...

It's funny how things work out...
I wasn't planning on doing the Ninja Bake, but it had been niggling me a little bit; I had the confidence and the time this year to actually do this, and it seemed such a cool thing. SO, eventually I made an effort to read up on it, only to discover that the registrations to be a 'Baker' had closed the day before - so I figured 'it wasn't meant to be'!
Next thing I know - there was an e-mail from Sophie thanking me for registering; with enough other details for me to realise that she had the wrong Elizabeth, in the wrong city! But it was a 'God-Incidence', and I just knew it! So I e-mailed her straight back, explained the alter-ego issue, but also let her know I actually was keen... and that is how it got started!
I registered, but it was decided I would pick two families myself - which I had been thinking of doing anyway! So I duly went up to Button's Preschool and asked the lovely Head Teacher to pass on the name…

Burnt Potatoes and other things that make me GRUMPY!!!!!

 I had a bit of a burning problem today... not sure if I should be admitting it or not, but here it is!


I, ahhh - burnt the potatoes I was cooking for dinner! Burnt the potatoes I hear you say - how on earth...???!!!! It's really quite simple; I had expected Button to not want to go to bed for another 20-30 minutes, but she cracked up earlier than I had anticipated, and when she cracks - she CRACKS! So I just popped upstairs to put her down, normally this 'little' job only takes about 10-15 minutes, as she quietly 'chats' herself to sleep in my arms. But NO - today she screamed for the first 10 minutes, and then she took another 15 or so minutes to actually settle down and go to sleep... it wasn't until I was in the middle of this saga that I remembered the potatoes AND pumpkin were both cooking on the stove on HIGH!!!!!
