(Icing recipe found at: Allyson Gofton)

1.5 c icing sugar
1tsp melted butter
peppermint essence to taste (was quite heavy-handed with it)
2-3 tbs warm water (tap)
Green food colouring

Sift icing sugar into a bowl, add melted butter, peppermint essence and food colouring, then add sufficient water (1 dessert spoon at a time) to make a smooth, thick icing  that can be spread easily.

1.5c icing sugar
2 tbs cocoa
2-3 tbs warm water (tap)

Sift icing sugar into a bowl. Dissolve cocoa into the warm water and allow to cool. Mix the icing sugar and cocoa to a smooth, thick consistency that can be spread easily (add extra water if needed)!
