The Easiest GF Chocolate Slice EVER!
Gluten-Free Chocolate Slice:

c gluten free flour
1
c coconut
125g
butter
1/2c
sugar
1
heaped tablespoon cocoa
Preheat
oven to 180oC.
Melt
the butter.
Mix
melted butter with all the rest of the ingredients thoroughly.
Press
into a slice tin.
Bake
for 10 minutes in oven.
Remove
from oven and cool.
Make
peppermint icing.
Ice
with green peppermint icing.
Return
to fridge to let icing harden.
Make
chocolate icing.
Ice
with chocolate icing (over the green).
Return
to fridge to let icing harden again...

Peppermint:
1.5
c icing sugar
1tsp
melted butter
peppermint
essence to taste (was quite heavy-handed with it)
2-3
tbs warm water (tap)
Green
food colouring
Sift
icing sugar into a bowl, add melted butter, peppermint essence and food
colouring, then add sufficient water (1 dessert spoon at a time) to make a
smooth, thick icing that can be spread
easily.
Chocolate:
1.5c
icing sugar
2
tbs cocoa
2-3
tbs warm water (tap)
Sift
icing sugar into a bowl. Dissolve cocoa into the warm water and allow to cool.
Mix the icing sugar and cocoa to a smooth, thick consistency that can be spread
easily (add extra water if needed)!
